Caps' Ovechkin banned two games for Campbell hit

Ovechkin is out for 2 games due to his hit/shove on Brian Campbell. I'm sure the fact that Campbell broke his collar bone had a lot to do with the decision to suspend him. I disagree completely with the ruling, but who am I? If nothing else at least Ovechkin will get to catch up on some rest and prepare himself for a long playoff run. He will miss a game against the Florida Panthers (a team which conveniently enough has Colin Campbells son on the roster) and the Carolina Hurricanes. Two games that mean almost nothing against two teams that have little to no chance at the post season.
